Using potassium chloride in sophisticated well-controlled fertigation systems can bring benefits, for example by reducing nitrate discharge to the environment and reduced nitrate levels in crop products. Using potassium chloride instead of potassium nitrate has proved highly economical, because the yield of tomatoes is equal, and the quality improved, with increased salinity.
Foliar spray of mono-potassium phosphate (PeaK®) and PeaKVant™ are highly efficient in supplying potassium (K) as a non-chloride salt to various crops. Besides their phosphorus (P) and K nutritional value, ‘PeaKVant’ is very efficient in reducting powdery mildew in greenhouse cucumbers and roses, especially when alternated with commercial fungicides.
