A computer controlled analytical system for photometric and titrimetric analyses was developed and adapted to the work load of the centralised plant laboratory.
This work load is characterised by a broad spectrum of analytical methods of low frequency, for which no suitable commercial system is available. The photometric and titrimetric analyses are carried out in two separate subsystems. A PDP 11/40 computer with 128 K active core, controls both the sub-systems simultaneously. Uniform sample beakers are automatically transported to dedicated analysis units for analytical actions.
Results of analysis, calculated by the computer, are presented in adequate daily summaries.
